Today I explain how I am a creature of repetition. It's fairly important to have habits when it comes to things like vitamins, but I tend to have them when it comes to food too.
Like usual, I started my day off with my bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios and vanilla rice milk (Rice Dream). One day I'll have to measure it out to see what the actual standings of it are.
A few hours later I had tacos...yes, again. When I cook I tend to cook for a few days at a time. The chicken tacos were exactly what I had the day before for lunch. Same quantities and all.
For a late afternoon snack I walked up to the juice shop for some smoothie action. As I walked in I was greeted with, "Do you want what you usually get?" What I usually get is some papaya juice mixed with orange juice and raspberries. It's added to a strawberry protein powder with a bit of l-carnitine.
For dinner I had two chicken soft tacos (these were ordered and very basic). They consisted of a plainish chicken with cheese and a couple of corn tortillas for each taco. I also had about a half of a cup of Mexican rice. I finished a good portion of it, but didn't finish it off until a couple of hours later.
The last thing I consumed for the night/day was another protein shake. This one is more of a milk based shake. I use 6oz of vanilla rice milk for my recommended two scoops of powder. The powder is Biochem Sport's 100% whey protein. Quite tasty.
Now I know rice isn't the best thing for a evening/night time meal/snack, but at least I'm eating something. My strongest concern is getting in 4-5 meals/snacks a day. I've long been in the bad habit of just 2 or so meals a day. It's easy to skip breakfast and I work to avoid that habit now.
I debated on heading to the gym after work for some cardio, but I'm fairly sore from yesterday's workout and tired from a tiring day at the office (excuses I know).
Now I'll list my daily vitamin intake.
I start my day off of MRM's Beyond Basics multi-vitamin. This is the only vitamin I won't take at night due to being worried about being wired out when it's time to go to sleep. Then, at night I take 1000mg vitamin d3, 1000mg vitamin c, 1200mg calcium, and I usually take 50mg zinc. It's time to replenish that.
Also, today I started taking Jarrow's msm. I heard it suggested for joint fluidity last night and I felt it was time to start up on it again. I never really took it consistently in my prior experience with it, but I hope to stay on track with it this time.
Overall I am feeling progress in my energy and abilities. I'm pushing forward and it's starting to pay off for me.
